CASE STUDY - FEO at The Business Day
Divine Insight was commissioned by For Entrepreneurs Only (FEO) to provide a commentary via social media for the 'Evolution of an Entrepreneur' event at The Business Day which took place at Bridlington Spa on 8 June 2018.
Throughout the day, a team of 35 members of FEO showed delegates what it is like to be an entrepreneur, in their typical warts and all style.
Divine Insight captured the spirit of the day, following 4 workshops which included: Blood is thicker than water which focussed on family businesses. The Disruptive Generation which looked at how businesses can survive and thrive in this new world, Expect the Unexpected where FEO members bared their souls and experiences with only 30 seconds to speak on the following hashtags and finally, A Problem Shared which showed how mentoring is one of the best aspects of FEO.
Jess Clark posted throughout the day picking out the vital one-liners and key messages delivered by the FEO team and Andy Crozier captured the images which were uploaded during the proceedings.
Jan Brumby is Chief Executive of For Entrepreneurs Only (FEO). Of the day she said:
“FEO were delighted to work with Divine Insight at our ‘Evolution of an Entrepreneur‘ day at Bridlington Spa, which formed part of The Business Day.
"Jess and Andy are valued members of FEO and were therefore able to capture the entrepreneurial atmosphere perfectly and to share it almost instantaneously via our social media channels and website."
"As the event organiser it was great to feel one hundred percent confident in leaving Jess and Andy to carry out their role with charisma and professionalism.
This then freed up myself and my team to focus on other key aspects of the day."
"Divine Insight’s coverage created a positive social media storm for us. It was an added bonus to be in real time, rather than waiting until after the weekend for the photo proofs and it also gained valuable momentum which gathered pace for the weeks after.”
CASE STUDY - Dove House’s Starlight Stride
The team at Divine Insight were delighted to hear that Dove House needed our services. We know that event organisers struggle to manage their social media during events and our initial launch resonated with the fund-raising team at Dove House.
Anita Brien asked us to help out with their fantastic event which helps to raise vital funds for this very worth cause. Here is what Anita Brien, Fundraising Co-ordinator at Dove House Hospice said:
“THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
We organise lots of fundraising events throughout the year; taking photos and posting on social media is always part of the plan but when you’re in the middle of an event inevitably you don’t get chance, or you completely forget!
When we saw Divine Insight promoting their new service on LinkedIn it looked like it would solve so many of our problems. To have a professional photographer at an event and then someone else uploading the images onto our social media during the event would be perfect! I contacted Jess who came down to the hospice to have a chat, it was great to be able to talk through the problems we’ve had in the past. She also was able to really understand the event and the work we do at the hospice. Jess answered all my questions quickly in the weeks running up to the event and made sure she had access to all the social media platforms she needed well before the event night. She also scheduled some posts to make sure there was interaction before the event even started.
On the night of the event Jess and Andy were extremely professional. They got on with the job with no problems, integrating themselves with the volunteers and walkers.
To have photos uploaded throughout the night was fantastic. We had really great engagement, particularly on Facebook, from both walkers tagging themselves and hospice supporters wishing everyone good luck. It was great that Jess was replying to any comments and meant we could interact in real-time with our supporters.
We also receive the hi-definition photos from Andy to use to thank everyone for taking part in the event and to promote it next year.
Thank you to Jess and Andy – I would whole-heartedly recommend their Divine Insight initiative to anyone organising an event. They are professional and talented and really take the pressure off when you’re thinking about a hundred other things to make sure your event is a success.”
